When it comes to raising a Catholic family, it is important to consider which area of the country would best suit your needs. While some states have many Catholic schools, there are also somewhere there aren’t. In this article, we will look at the best places to raise a Catholic family in America.

As a Catholic parent, you’re usually pretty excited about the prospect of your children being baptized. Naturally, you want the best possible environment for them to grow up in. But where in the United States do you raise a Catholic family?

No worries, we went ahead and prepared this list for you.

Check out the following best places to raise a Catholic family:

• Front Royal, Virginia
A small town located in the Shenandoah Valley, surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains and nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. In Front Royal, Virginia, there are many Catholic schools, and every one of them is a gem filled with faith, community, and the best education money can buy. There are parishes, Church organizations, and Catholic sports teams, as well as at least one Catholic school for every grade level—it’s a place where Catholic families can find a place to grow their children and learn about faith along the way. Family life is best here because of its low cost of living, mild climate, and simple standard of living.

• Overland Park, Kansas
Overland Park, Kansas has always been an attractive place to live, but it was not considered a great place to raise a Catholic family until recently. The city’s Catholic schools and community have been consistently ranked as some of the best in the nation, so when Catholic families in the area start to look for opportunities to raise their children in a Catholic school, they have a lot to choose from.

• Wichita, Kansas
For most of us, Wichita is best known as the home of Wichita State University, one of the fastest-growing schools in the nation. But this city of about 250,000 people (as of 2015) has much more to offer than that. It’s home to a strong Catholic community (the largest in the state), which makes it one of the best places to raise a Catholic family in the entire country.

• Portland, Oregon
It’s a city with a strong Catholic community, an urban environment with plenty of green space, and a strong economy that has produced many successful businesses. The city has a family-friendly atmosphere with a diversity of neighbourhoods and a Catholic school system that offers top-notch education to the children of Catholic families.

• Bristol, Providence
In the city of Bristol, Providence, Rhode Island, people of all faiths and beliefs are able to raise their children in a welcoming, tolerant, and caring environment. The city of Bristol is part of the Ocean State, the 10th smallest state by population in the United States. Providence is the capital city of Rhode Island and the home of many Catholic schools, including Saint Anselm College.

Chattanooga, Tennessee- Chattanooga
Tennessee is a wonderful place to raise a Catholic family, with a large Catholic population, many Catholic schools, and a growing Catholic community. The Catholic community there is very welcoming and loves to share their faith with others. The Catholic school system is second to none when it comes to education, and the tuition is very reasonable. Chattanooga is a great city, with a dynamic economy and a large selection of jobs to choose from.

It’s impossible to make up a shortlist of “the best places to raise a Catholic family in the USA” since it depends on many factors. The ideal location for a Catholic family is one that provides a strong Catholic education for the children and a safe, loving community for the parents. That being said, some of the best places to raise a Catholic family are much more affordable than others.
