A sore throat can be extremely painful and debilitating. In these cases, we will want to pray for healing, so that our ailment goes away as quickly as possible. If we want to ask a saint to intercede for us, we should make a prayer to Saint Blaise, who is the patron saint of throat diseases.
Make sure you are following medical advice with regards to your throat. While praying to the saints is a great way to get them to intercede on our behalf, we should remember that medics are here to help us.
Saint Blaise Prayer for Healing of the Throat
Oh, blessed St. Blaise, I come to you with a heavy heart and a sore throat.
You are the patron saint of those suffering from throat problems. I come to you today asking for your intercession.
I am suffering from a throat infection and I am in so much pain. The antibiotics are not working and I am getting worse. I can barely swallow and I am in constant pain. I am losing my voice and I am so scared. I am feeling so much pain and discomfort, and I really need your help.
I know that you have the power to heal me and I am asking you to please intercede on my behalf. I am begging you to heal me and to take away this pain.
I am offering up my sufferings to you and I know that you will answer my prayers.
Through the intercession of Saint Blaise, bishop and martyr, may God deliver you from every disease of the throat and from every other illness. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
